Technical Overview

Trinoveon offers as its premiere product the triScan service: a turn-key, point-of-service test for primary care physicians (family medicine, internal medicine, endocrinologists) to perform diabetic retinopathy retinal evaluations in their offices. A full-field electroretinogram (ERG) is used to detect loss of retinal function by measuring the electrical activity generated by neural and non-neuronal cells in the retina in response to a light stimulus. In diabetic retinopathy (DR) multiple changes are monitored to determine the presence of vision-threatening diabetic retinopathy (VTDR).
